It's year 2014! I can't believe it's already 2014. I will probably saying the same thing same time next year about 2015.
I've been cooking and baking away in 2013 and my body has paid for it. With my weight approaching a certain number on the scale, I've had to really look at my diet and see what I could change to make sure I have a more fit body for this new year.
I really wish there was a magical medicine that would allow me to eat whatever I want and be still fit but unfortunately, there isn't. And I don't believe in any of that pills that guarantees weight loss. If it is too good to be true, it usually is.
This year, through this blog, I hope to chronicle my journey through weight loss and come up with heather recipes that taste good and have less calories.
I still plan on having fat rich meals now and then but for now, I am going to try really hard to make sure I eat a healthy diet.
